Aspect’s Enterprise Server Receives IBM ClusterProven Validation

Aspect Communications Corp.’s Enterprise Contact Server (ECS) has received IBM ClusterProven validation on Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server. The ECS provides large and medium enterprises with multisite, multichannel contact center technology for service, sales and marketing, and customer contact functions.

The IBM ClusterProven program is designed to encourage the development of solutions that meet technical and functional requirements for delivering the utmost in availability and scalability. IBM provides assistance to developers who wish to validate their solutions as ClusterProven.

Aspect’s group president of worldwide market development, sales and services, Rod Butters, said in a statement that "businesses are centering their practices around customer relationship management. They realize in order to have a profitable business with loyal customers they must make every effort to provide the highest level of customer service. Completing the IBM validation program is yet another proof of the reliability in our solutions. Our customers know that when they purchase from us they are getting the most fault-resilient software solution from the combined efforts of Aspect and IBM."
