Sun and J.D. Edwards Open Testing Lab
Yesterday, Sun Microsystems Inc. and J.D. Edwards &Co. opened a testing lab for business intelligence solutions. Based in Denver,the lab tests J.D. Edwards’ supply chain management software (SCM) on sun hardware.
Sun pitches the lab as a way for system integrators totest new solutions to meet the needs of their customers. Because SCM requirescomplex work to meet the needs of a business, integrators want to be sure asolution is up to the task. The lab gives the integrators an opportunity toensure a platform is suitable.
Visitors have access to Sun servers, storage systems,and the Sun Cluster 3.0/SunPlex cluster system. In addition, J.D. Edwards’OneWorld ERP, CRM, and APS software is available for testing.
