Crestone Enhances Security Offering as Tivoli Partner

IBM’s Tivoli Systems has extended its relationship with enterprise consulting firm Crestone International by accepting the Suwanee, Ga.-based company into its partner program.

Crestone – which has been using Tivoli’s security management software to support its enterprise security efforts for some time – as a premier Tivoli business partner is now also certified to resell and deliver Tivoli SecureWay software.

"By taking our relationship with Tivoli to this next strategic level, Crestone is expanding the security offerings available to our clients," says Crestone CEO Cal Yonker in a statement. "By utilizing the Tivoli SecureWay software portfolio, our consultants deliver a suite of tools that enable our clients to safely handle the electronic exchange of information that today's electronic economy requires."

Currently, Crestone uses Tivoli’s software to create a secure link for its customers between ERP and CRM applications via the Internet. Crestone’s consultants use Tivoli’s security and privacy management software to monitor and maximize the availability of their clients’ e-business systems and applications. In addition, they use Tivoli to monitor client networks.

Tivoli SecureWay software is designed to provide secure systems access to customers, prospects and business partners. With SecureWay, companies can security threats, attacks and exposures across throughout their organization.
