Yahoo! HP and Yahoo Celebrate A Pact
HP, in what many will perceive as its hippest move to date announced an agreement with Yahoo! to help corporations build customized employee hubs that provide access to corporate e-services through the authentic look and feel of the Corporate My Yahoo! interface.
HP will offer Corporate My Yahoo! licenses as a pay-as-you-go service on the Internet, enabling companies to focus on building and deploying the applications that are strategic to their businesses.
HP is providing a one-stop shop for design, delivery and integration support. Corporate My Yahoo! from HP's E-services Division will combine the familiar functionality of Yahoo!'s interface and HP's Internet technology, including e-speak, the universal language that enables dynamic brokering for next-generation employee portal services. The new service will also integrate behavior-based profiling and personalization technology and enterprise-application-interface technology.
