InCert Awarded Patent for Software Agent Technology
InCert Software Corporation has been awarded its first patent from the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office for its revolutionary "agent" software technology, which helps enterprise customers keep critical applications up and running. The patent award covers protection for Incert's unique binary code instrumentation capability.
Software agents are inserted into an application's executable (binary) code. These agents, which have less than 1% overhead, monitor and report the behavior of the applications during execution in both test and production environments, adding a new dimension to software development, code integrity and failure management.
