Avesta & AT&T Solutions Collaborate

Avesta Technologies Inc., a provider of software that manages the infrastructure of e-business, and AT&T Solutions, the networking professional services subsidiary of AT&T, have entered into a strategic relationship to collaboratively develop next-generation technology to be deployed in support of AT&T’s global outsourcing clients.

Avesta will work closely with AT&T Solutions to adapt its products to the Global Enterprise Management System (GEMS) proprietary platform that AT&T Solutions deploys in Global Client Support Centers around the world. GEMS produces seamless networking capabilities – including predictive management – by integrating proprietary software developed at AT&T Labs with enterprise-management software. AT&T Solutions’ centers will serve as a beta test site for Avesta’s leading-edge technology. Additionally, AT&T Solutions will serve on two advisory councils that help guide Avesta’s ongoing technology development, and the two companies will share sales leads.

The contract expands on an agreement concluded earlier this year in which AT&T Solutions licensed Avesta’s Trinity for deployment in GEMS.
