BEA, KL Group Integrate JProbe with BEA Software
To address high-end Java users' need for performance and reliability, BEA Systems and KL Group have integrated the KL group's JProbe Java performance tools with the BEA WebLogic 5.12 server. The integration is intended to give BEA WebLogic application server users the ability to significantly improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of mission-critical applications.
The JProbe Suite ServerSide Edition set of tools allows for advanced tuning of Enterprise JavaBeans (EJBs) and servers. Its primary feature is LaunchPad, which provides point-and-click integration with a number of applications servers and provides sophisticated filters that allow developers to select critical servlets or EJBs for analysis. The analysis provides a snapshot for developers to use in examining performance, memory and threading activity at any stage of a server-side transaction.
JProbe ServerSide Edition is available now, priced at $1,899 for a single developer computer license. SVR support for BEA WebLogic 5.1 Server can be downloaded immediately at www.klgroup.com/jprobe/bea.
