IBM, Alcatel Join Forces
Alcatel and IBM have entered an agreement to integrate their information technology and communications expertise, offering advanced network solutions to Carrier, ASP and enterprise customers.
The companies will plan to focus on Internet data centers, the technology hubs that link the IT infrastructure with networking infrastructure and communication software. In addition, IBM Global Services will establish a global practice to integrate Alcatel enterprise solutions with a special focus on U.S. and European international enterprises. These solutions will also include Alcatel Carrier, Genesys, and Newbridge solutions.
