California Software Corp., a provider of IBM Midrange migration products and developer of the BABY product line, has announced that a new business partner has joined its team with an initial deployment of 200-plus runtime licenses.

"This substantial deployment of BABY demonstrates the opportunities available to us and validates our commitment to the ISV market here in the United States and abroad," says Tom Hoyt, vice president of sales for California Software. "By moving forward with state of the art B2B, e-commerce solutions, we are able to broaden the offering of software companies which choose to deploy their solutions with our product family."

"Our newest business partner agreement encompasses all of the BABY family of software solutions and strengthens our position as a leader in midrange migration solutions and Web-enablement software. There were several issues critical to our selection against competitive products. First was our time to deployment and ease of use and second was our major cost advantage," notes Carol Conway, president of California Software.

California Software’s products, marketed under the brand name BABY, Unibol and MLPS, support the migration of IBM AS/400 screens and applications to Windows and the Web and loan processing applications for financial institutions.
