Pacific Adds Open Systems Arm With Acquisition
Pacific Information Systems Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Better On-line Solutions Ltd, has acquired Dean Tech Technologies Associates L.L.C. of Grapevine, Texas.
By doing so, Pacific now becomes an IBM Premier Business Partner for RS/6000. Prior to the acquisition, Pacific held the designation for AS/400.
"The synergy created by the acquisition will allow us to provide programming, networking, installation, operation, monitoring and management services for both the UNIX/AIX and AS/400 environments, in step with our plan to expand and enrich our professional services activities," says Israel Gal, CEO of BOS, in a statement.
With offices throughout the United States, Dean Tech will extend the reach of Pacific geographically, as well as in terms of technological expertise. Under Pacific, Dean Tech will serve as the open systems division of the company.
