Linoma Adds to Productivity Suite
Looking to expand the value their customer’s get from iSeries or AS/400 systems, Linoma Software has expanded its suite of productivity tools. Through a new partnership, Oasis Software's complete line of productivity tools will be sold and supported by Linoma Software.
Linoma Software is the maker of Surveyor/400 - a graphical productivity suite for iSeries 400 and CVTILERPG - an RPG to ILE RPG IV conversion tool. Oasis Software developed the tools File Access/400 - a widely used file editor (formerly known as PFE), CHU - a help text authoring and integration tool and NLS - an international language enabler for custom applications.
Since both companies are based in Nebraska and had prior working relationships, this made for a smooth transition of Oasis Software's sales force over to Linoma. Both companies expect an immediate synergy between each other's development teams. "There will be a lot of collaboration between developers of both companies to make sure these tools are the best in the marketplace," says Bob Luebbe, president of Linoma Software, in a statement. "We will continue to invest heavily in the R&D needed to keep pace with technology and to meet our customer's changing needs.
