PentaSafe Names IBM Systems Management Partner
PentaSafe Security Technologies, Inc., a developer of enterprise security infrastructure and policy management solutions, announced today that it has again been selected for IBM's iSeries Systems Management Partner Group.
The selection makes PentaSafe one of the enterprise security management and security auditing solutions IBM recommends to its eServer iSeries customers.
The SMPG designation is a combined effort among IBM eServer iSeries development, IBM PartnerWorld for Developers and other system management vendors. The goal of the program is to increase customer awareness of solutions and resources and to help IBM iSeries users more effectively manage their servers.
Through the SMPG initiative, IBM will highlight portions of PentaSafe's VigilEnt product line. VigilEnt is a suite of security solutions intended to meet the security needs of an entire organization.
Products to be highlighted include PSAudit for iSeries and AS/400, which provides automated vulnerability assessment, auditing, and systems management capabilities for iSeries servers and VigilEnt Security Manager, which provides enterprise-wide auditing and security management.
PentaSafe has been a member of IBM’s SMPG for the past four years.
