Sprint Announces E-Business Platform
Sprint Corp.'s new application infrastructure management (AIM) platform extends Sprint's suite of management capabilities to include the customer's infrastructure and applications environments. According to Sprint, the AIM platform will provide the network and hosting infrastructure on which a company runs its business, and will provide and manage the applications needed to fully outsource Web-enabled business processes.
Sprint E|Solutions is doing this by aligning with various providers of Internet hardware and applications products, such as Cisco, Sun and BroadVision.
Through its Sprint AIM platform, Sprint E|Solutions offers end-to-end application solutions, including infrastructure applications and business applications, such as e-commerce, e-mail/messaging, calendaring and portal services.
