Boeing to Use MEGAXESS QoS Products
MEGAXESS Inc. and the Boeing Company announced a strategic partnership that will result in delivering uninterrupted secured video/voice/data transport for support of battlefield training and true battlefield applications.
According to the companies, the Boeing/MEGAXESS-designed secured communications systems will offer a total mobile combat training communication system where there are no fixed towers, reducing the cost of combat training network significantly over the current methods.
The goal of the Boeing/MEGAXESS Project is to integrate MEGAXESS' Quality of Service systems into the Boeing Combat Situation Awareness Systems (CSAS). The combined technologies will provide tracking, secure communications and the ability to accurately react to real-time situations.
The Boeing and MEGAXESS Technology integration program will be coordinated out of the Boeing Company's IDS (Integrated Defense Systems) Chantilly, Va. office.
