The ABS Group to Acquire Thomson Financial Business Unit
Thomson Financial and The ABS Group, a privately held financial software solutions provider focusing on back and middle office applications for wholesale and international banks, announced an agreement under which The ABS Group will acquire the assets of the Thomson Financial Treasury Solutions (TFTS) business. The acquisition will allow The ABS Group worldwide rights to Thomson Financial's suite of treasury management products, including PARAGON, Vision and TBA Trader.
The organizations will merge their operations in Boston, London, New York and Singapore. Linda Bertone, previously Managing Director of Thomson Financial Treasury Solutions, will manage the existing ABS Group and TFTS operations in North America.
The new organization plans to offer a broad suite of solutions -- for wholesale banking, treasury management, settlements and risk management.
