Oracle Secure Enterprise Search 10g gives users rapid access to enterprise information while enabling users to enforce corporate security policies. Oracle Secure Enterprise Search 10g allows for authenticating and searching within and between Oracle applications such as Oracle's Siebel and PeopleSoft. It also indexes and searches public, private and shared content across internal and external Web sites, databases, file servers, document repositories, enterprise content management systems, applications and portals.
The new Inxight SmartDiscovery Awareness Server for Oracle Secure Enterprise Search 10g, powered by Inxight's award-winning ThingFinder(R) entity extraction, clusters search results on the fly, enabling users to filter their Oracle Secure Enterprise Search 10g result sets by the people, companies, places, concepts and other information contained within them. It augments keyword in context summaries with the "Top Mentions" contained within the full text of the document, making it easier to find relevant documents. In addition, personalized page and term alerts automatically inform users of new information of interest in their Oracle Secure Enterprise Search 10g indexes, open Web or other federated sources. Results can also be clustered by a company-specific or industry-specific taxonomy.
A robust, flexible authentication and security mechanism allows users to take full advantage of the superior security afforded by Oracle Secure Enterprise Search 10g.
Inxight offers more than 35 entity types out of the box. With the additional purchase of Inxight ThingFinder Professional, administrators may customize the system to filter by custom list-based or pattern-based entities, such as products, terrorist names, gene sequences, SKUs, and much more.
In addition, keyword-in-context summaries are enhanced by an automated "Top Mentions" list, revealing the most important people, places, companies and other information contained within the full text of a document -- helping users quickly get a better sense of the true content of a document.
