Anfibia Reactor is Minimalist Server Monitoring Solution

Anfibia Software has released Anfibia Reactor, a Web-based server monitoring solution. Anfibia Reactor monitors CPU, memory, battery status, and hard drives, and makes sure network connections are working, It also checks databases and restarts services.
Continuous monitoring enables users to learn about problems and resolve them before they become serious. Users will be notified when a hard drive shows signs of a possible malfunction or when a server connection is down, for example.
Anfibia Reactor runs on the user's own server, providing have full control over private data, setup, and configuration.
Among the Reactor’s features:
- Easy to install and use (no remote agent required)
- Very low memory and CPU consumption
- Works on Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008, and Windows 7 on both 32-bit and 64-bit systems
- Works on servers and workstations
Anfibia Reactor can perform the following tasks:
- Monitor hardware, such as hard drives, CPU, memory, battery
- Monitor network connections (secure and insecure): HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP, DNS, ICMP (ping)
- Monitor and query databases: Microsoft SQL, ORACLE, MySQL, Generic OLE DB
- Monitor running services and applications
- Reboot or shut down computers
- Keep a detailed log of errors, warnings, and useful information
- Restart services or kill applications
- Send e-mail notifications when a problem is discovered (errors will only be triggered once per day, to avoid clutter and maintain usability)
