Precise 9.0 Lowers Risk for Mission-Critical Cloud Applications
Update of Precise TPM provides real-time monitoring across physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructure.

Precise 9.0 allows IT application owners to manage the quality of service (QoS) of their applications during and after their migration to a cloud infrastructure.
Although there are several solutions for cloud infrastructure management, none can handle mission-critical applications. Ensuring application QoS on top of virtual infrastructure is challenging: old problems do not go away, virtual infrastructure is in constant change, and contention for shared services is a daily staple. Moreover, an application transaction problem has become much more difficult to pinpoint, due to the multiple virtualization layers around the application, database and storage.
Precise 9.0 fills this void by providing application, database and storage managers a “single pane of glass” to analyze transactions in flight, isolate problems, and even guide resolution. The application:
- Tracks every single transaction from end-users all the way down to the storage level in real time, providing unprecedented visibility to application owners
- Automatically finds the cause of application transaction problems in the Java code, database, or storage, accelerating repair of application slowdowns
- Visually presents the impact of VM events on application performance, allowing application owners to reduce risk of failure
