Lighthouse Security Group has released Lighthouse Gateway, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) identity and access management (IAM) platform that combines automation, governance, and multi-tenancy capabilities and is built on top of a proven IAM foundation to enable enterprises to overcome the cost, complexity, and deployment problems of IAM.

Lighthouse Gateway is based on the IAM platform its engineers designed and deployed for the U.S. Air Force, and the company already has successful deployments at several mid-sized organizations.

User Self-Service: Understanding that user self-service tools are as important to identity life cycle management as role management, provisioning, and certification processes, Lighthouse Security Group incorporated built-in self-service applications, such as password reset, access request, and self-registration, into the Gateway. Using these tools, customers can select the applications that are most relevant and install them in a matter of minutes using simple point-and-click technology.

Federated Single Sign-On: Lighthouse Gateway’s new “Quick Connect” technology includes a variety of pre-built profiles for popular SaaS applications (including Salesforce.com, Concur, and SuccessFactors), allowing IT administrators to federate to them within minutes and without having to build or deploy on-premise infrastructure. This capability saves time, money, and overhead and enables seamless and secure login to third-party applications without the use of IDs and passwords.

Identity and Access Intelligence: The Gateway now includes new controls that enable IT and security administrators to create customized reports that meet compliance and auditory requirements while translating user access data into information that business managers and C-level executives can understand and use to mitigate risk.
