Index Engines has released version 4.5 of their Octane platform, adding support for the review and analysis of electronically stored information (ESI) through integration with Relativity. Also included in this new release is support for indexing of scanned documents using OCR processing, as well as high-speed processing of Encase and AccessData forensic images.
Index Engines’ Octane platform provides a unified and intelligent workflow when processing ESI in support of eDiscovery and compliance. With this new release, ESI culled within the Octane platform can be easily delivered to Relativity for review and analysis. This new integration ensures reliability and accuracy when working with sensitive data.
Additional workflow enhancements include automated indexing of scanned PDFs and images using OCR technology, as well as high-speed processing of forensic images. Forensic images from AccessData (.AD1) and EnCase (.E01/.L01) will be supported without the need to mount the images in advance. This approach delivers high-speed, comprehensive processing of evidence files.
