IT Governance has launched a new ISO22301 BCMS Implementation Toolkit, which dramatically simplifies the process and reduces the costs of implementing a business continuity management system (BCMS) in line with the international ISO22301 best practice standard.
Alan Calder, chief executive of IT Governance, says: “Organizations deploying a BCMS are better prepared to respond to natural disasters and other unforeseen events than those without an integrated business continuity program. They are demonstrating to customers and other stakeholders that the organization is fully prepared for disruptive incidents and are able to resume business quickly, providing a reliable service.
While many organizations have business continuity arrangements in place, these measures often fall short of best practice and offer inadequate protection against significant business interruptions. In contrast, the international ISO22301 standard, which recently replaced the British BS25999 standard, offers a blueprint for a best practice business continuity management system, providing far greater confidence that an organization can withstand adverse events.
However, creating an ISO22301-compliant BCMS from scratch can be a time-consuming, and therefore costly, project. This prospect can make seeking compliance unappealing to organizations, leaving them potentially vulnerable. IT Governance’s ISO22301 BCMS Implementation Toolkit eases the process and reduces the associated costs of compliance.
The ISO22301 BCMS Implementation Toolkit contains everything needed to attain ISO22301 compliance. It includes a comprehensive, end-to-end suite of pre-written ISO22301-compliant policies, procedures, templates, and guidance documentation; PDCA guidance; business impact analysis and risk register tools; an implementation progress checklist; and a project management implementation plan.
The Toolkit also comes with a 12-month support and upgrade contract that ensures buyers benefit from all updates to the Toolkit, and gives online access to document drafting support from IT Governance’s compliance professionals.
The BCMS Implementation Toolkit is priced at £395. More information is available at www.itgovernance.co.uk.
