SSA and Manugistics Form Supply Chain Management Alliance
System Software Associates, a Chicago-based enterprise resource planning solutions provider, and Manugistics Group Inc., a Rockville, Md.-based provider of supply chain optimization solutions, have announced a joint development, sales and marketing agreement to deliver integrated supply chain solutions to their mutual customer bases worldwide, according to published reports.
Under the terms of the agreement, SSA is expected to participate in Manugistics' Open Application Integration (OAI) program and build a certified ERP "plug-in" for Manugistics' supply chain planning solution.
In return, Manugistics' suite of products will be offered as part of SSA's enterprise solution, through a joint sales and marketing agreement between the two companies.
