Active Software/Changepoint Alliance
Active Software, a provider of eBusiness infrastructure software products, and Changepoint, a provider of solutions automating IT services delivery, have entered into a strategic alliance. Under terms of the agreement, Changepoint will leverage Active Software's ActiveWorks Integration System to provide real time integration to mission-critical data contained in back office and front office systems.
While opportunities exist to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction based on real time access to information, IT services organizations today face the challenge of managing the end-to-end business of IT services delivery - including critical business functions such as strategic planning, contractor, resource and knowledge management, time and expense tracking, and invoicing. By providing real-time integration to mission-critical information contained in disparate back office and front office systems, IT services organizations can enable all individuals in the services supply chain to operate across a common framework.
Some of the industry-leading third-party products that Changepoint customers will be able to access through the ActiveWorks Adapter include, Clarify, PeopleSoft, Siebel, SAP, Baan Front Office Edition, Remedy, Vantive, DB2, Informix, SQL Server, ODBC, Oracle and Sybase.
The integration of ActiveWorks into the Changepoint solution is targeted to for the end of July 2000.
