Janis Group Inc. (JGI, Rochelle Park, N.J.) and iWork Software (Greensboro, N.C.) have entered into a marketing agreement that will give JGI’s customers in the manufacturing sector access to iWork’s application integration products.
“We share very similar histories and JGI was a natural partnership for us,” says iWork president and COO Harry Falk. “With JGI’s current customer base of BPCS, BAAN and JD Edwards customers, JGI clients will be able to make immediate use of the iWork Business Integration Suite.”
JGI is a business-to-business enterprise solution provider serving mid-market e-businesses. The iWork Business Integration Suite provides real-time integration of Web application information and processes with back-office systems and throughout the supply chain. It is designed to reduce costs and make e-business strategies more effective, with better inventory management and improved customer response time.
Under the terms of the joint marketing agreement, JGI will market, sell and support iWork’s Business Integration Suite to companies with revenues up to $500 million throughout the Northeast Corridor.
“JGI is very excited about our new strategic alliance with iWork,” said JGI CEO Mike Janis. “The real-time connectivity to key applications coupled with iWork’s tremendous workflow abilities provides us the ability to more effectively address the e-business requirements of our customers.”
