Vision Solutions, Help/Systems Complete Compatibility Testing
Vision Solutions and Help/Systems have completed ClusterProven compatibility testing of the Vision Suite software with Help/Systems’ job scheduling software, Robot/SCHEDULE. Vision Suite is cluster-enabled, making systems 99.999% available against planned and unplanned downtime. The software’s clustering technology guarantees seamless failovers by automatically switching end users to recovery IBM iSeries servers, ensuring that Robot/SCHEDULE is always up and running. With Robot/SCHEDULE, Help/Systems customers can even automate the switchover between systems that are being mirrored.
“Based on this new assurance of compatibility, customers are encouraged to upgrade to the clustered version of Vision Suite (R7.0.02) which promises continuous availability to users, which is the ultimate in information availability,” says Vision Solutions CTO Alan Arnold.
Tests were conducted in IBM’s labs in Rochester, Minn.
