IBM and Lucent Go Global
IBM will include data networking, optical and wireless products and solutions from Lucent Technologies as part of its Global Services offerings for networking service providers and enterprises. Lucent's applications include: virtual private network solutions; voice over IP (VoIP) solutions; optical area network solutions based on Lucent's OptiStar technology; wireless network solutions; Internet content delivery and distribution solutions; network management software.
IBM will provide e-business, e-business infrastructure and business management solutions. The agreement is expected to be rolled out internationally in the next few weeks.
