ClientSoft Releases New Legacy Integration Offering

ClientSoft, a player in the legacy application integration space, has released a new transaction server that promises to extend the life of existing mainframe, AS/400 and DEC host-based legacy systems.

The offering, ClientBuilder AdvanceServer, is equipped with fault tolerance capabilities, remote monitoring modules and support for mission-critical enterprise applications. It uses industry standard data communication, messaging protocols and development tools such as simple object access protocol and extensible markup language to foster communication and integration between legacy systems and modern e-business solutions.

With a multi-tiered distributed architecture, administrators can remotely connect to ClientBuilder to view statistics and status information for major components. The monitoring features of ClientBuilder also provide a tool to oversee existing processes, reset tasks, stop application servers and perform other functions to ensure systems is running smoothly.

ClientSoft designed ClientBuilder with the intention of helping companies use their legacy systems to support modern-day e-business functions, including Web-to-host, business-to-business, business-to-consumer, as well as customer relationship management, mobile and wireless.
