IBS Releases Express
International Business Systems (IBS-US) has released IBS Express, an integrated suite of wholesale distribution software applications preloaded on the AS/400. Express will offer a streamlined implementation process with Lotus Domino and is targeted to small-to-midsize industrial distributors.
"This offering is not a stripped down version of our software but the deployment of a fully functional software and hardware application with an accelerated implementation," says Barry Christian, president and co-founder of IBS-US.
IBS Express includes IBS' newly released Internet Connection Manager plus forecasting and replenishment and multi-currency/language capabilities.
"Express will enable satellite offices to run the complete IBS application suite of software via the Web," says Randall Ferre, VP of marketing at Folsom, Calif.-based IBS-US. "We are also utilizing our strategic partners -- JetForm and Lotus Domino -- to simplify critical output forms and e-mail for advanced communication and e-commerce."
