Lawson Announces Partnerships at User Conference

Lawson Software (Minneapolis) peppered the marketplace with announcements this week, among them: the creation of a relationship with Deloitte & Touche LLP; an agreement to market Lawson human resources software with IBM's HR Access International Payroll product; and a collaboration with The Revere Group.

Deloitte & Touche LLP, a Wilton, Conn.-based professional services firm, has created a national service line to support Lawson enterprise software applications. As a Lawson Global Alliance Integrated Network (GAIN) enterprise consulting partner (ECP), Deloitte & Touche has been engaged in more than 100 Lawson implementations, according to published reports. As a national service line, Deloitte & Touche is expected to provide partner representation across the United States, as well as considerable resource dedication that includes the creation of a "Lawson Express" implementation methodology and SolutionsPrint, industry-specific process models designed for the Lawson suite of applications.

As part of Lawson's agreement with IBM, Lawson Insight II Human Resources enterprise software will be marketed with IBM's HR Access International Payroll product to deliver a solution designed to enable multinational and local organizations to more strategically manage their global payroll and HR functions.

Lawson and The Revere Group, a Deerfield, Ill.-based technology consulting firm focused on aligning technology solutions with business strategy, plan to collaborate on a new enterprise software certification program for students at Northwest Missouri State University, according to published reports. The certification curriculum is expected to enable graduate and undergraduate students in the university's business and computing colleges earn certification on Lawson Software products.
