Wall Data Releases RUMBA Management Server 3.0

Continuing the shift in focus to its RUMBA product line, Wall Data Inc. (Kirkland, Wash.) has announced the availability of RUMBA Management Server 3.0, a centrally managed and secure Web-to-host access solution.
“RUMBA Management Server represents the first of several products to be released as a result of the recent integration of Wall Data’s application management technologies into the RUMBA product family,” says Kevin Vitale, president and CEO of Wall Data. “Our customers can now centrally mange and deploy their business-critical host-access systems, enabling them to quickly realize a return on their technology investments.”
RMS provides customers with centralized Web-to-host management and deployment capabilities that allow users to access multiple host session simultaneously through a browser-based channel interface. This eases the workload of the IT staff, reducing the total cost of ownership.
Centralized deployment of RMS simplifies license compliance requirements and reporting costs. The flexibility of the application organization resources enhances the security of mission-critical applications by delivering a tailored view to each user.
RMS comes pre-loaded with a range of Wall Data Web-to-host technologies to meet connectivity and Web deployment requirements. The suggested retail price for RMS is $9,500 for 10 concurrent users and $250 for each additional user.
