ROI Partners to Bring Enhanced EDI to MANAGE 2000

By Jim Martin

Looking to enhance the EDI capabilities of its ERP solution, Minneapolis-based ROI Systems Inc. has formed a strategic partnership with SPS Commerce (St. Paul, Minnesota).

SPS’s Commerce solution will be integrated into ROI’s ERP software suite, MANAGE 2000, bringing it EDI and Internet-based, business-to-business e-commerce enhancements.

“We selected SPS commerce after evaluating several alternatives to our current EDI solution,” says Bill Pisarra, ROI’s executive VP of marketing. “SPS Commerce’s solution offers MANAGE 2000 clients the most cost-effective upgrade path while providing the best opportunity for long-term growth and the greatest potential for return-on-investment.”

MANAGE 2000 automates and manages business-critical operations across the supply chain, and ties the front and back end together by integrating over 40 applications. The new package updates MANAGE 2000’s current EDI capabilities, as SPS Commerce can accommodate non-electronic trading partners in electronic business transactions by accepting various data formats and translating the information into EDI.

“We are committed to making EDI and Internet-based, business-to-business commerce a viable and affordable solution for mid-sized companies regardless of their trading partners’ size and sophistication level,” says Doug Johnson, SPS Commerce’s director of business development. “By partnering with ROI and integrating our software solutions, we can offer manufacturers a solid, enterprise transaction model that assists in managing the supply chain and rapidly enabling trading partners.”
