ASG Enters Development Partnership with Sybase
Allen Systems Group Inc. (ASG) has entered into a development partnership with Sybase Inc to develop the ASG-Rascale. ASG developed its ASG-Rascle solution (part of ASG-Replication Suite) in cooperation with Sybase's OpenClient Connect and Direct Connect to provide real-time replication for CA-IDMS users. ASG-Rascle allows users of ASG-Replication Agent to feed their updates directly into Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Microsoft Sequel and Informix using top-of-the-line database controls that ensure data integrity.
ASG-Replication Suite permits CA-IDMS data to be replicated from a legacy database and distributed to nearly any combination of relational databases, regardless of their platform or location, while keeping them all in sync.
