"Clicks and Mortar" at TechFest 2000

@ffinity Executive Networks will hold its second annual Retail TechFest, a conference which brings together buyers in the consumer distribution channels with top technology vendors. Building on momentum from its inaugural year, the Retail TechFest will be held June 21 to 25 at the Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz.

The participation and support of the retail and e-tail channels make Retail TechFest 2000 the "Clicks and Mortar Event." Early registrations from the channel include Amazon.com, Staples, Beyond.com, Radio Shack, Fry's, Gateway Country Stores, Multiple Zones, K-mart and Insight.

In addition to growing channel participation, the vendor side continues to build as well. Both established and emerging companies are given the opportunity to present their business plans and marketing strategies to the channel community. Among the companies that are presenting at Retail TechFest 2000 are Tech Data, Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, COMPAQ, Dragon Systems, ViaGrafix, Continental Promotions, Ericsson and Acer.

At the event's core are interactive TechTheater presentations, enabling Vendors to conduct focused presentations to the retail and e-tail channels in pre-arranged private appointments. Other program elements include the CyberView Café Product Showcase, where buyers get to view products one-on-one with vendors and cut deals. TeamView, provides fun team building activities where participants get to develop new relationships.

"Our partnership with Tech Data and the support of our sponsors, including Dragon Systems, e21corp, Ericsson, IBM, Keystone Marketing, Microsoft, ViaGrafix and other clients help us to diversify our program, without losing focus on sharing information, doing deals and building relationships," says President of @ffinity Executive Networks, Kevin McCann.
