OpenConnect Launches ASP Licensing Program
OpenConnect has launched a new licensing program for Application Service Providers (ASPs), which will allow licensed ASPs to offer OpenConnect's i-WARE technology suite to customers who want to replace their existing enterprise networks with network solutions from an ASP.
With i-WARE, ASPs offer customers the ability to outsource access to enterprise applications at a fraction of the cost of building similar solutions in-house. In addition, participating ASPs will be able to use i-WARE's scalability to enable customers to add users and applications on-demand. It will also enable ASPs to provide a foundation for additional services, such as voice over IP, messaging and public Internet access. OpenConnect's licensing program also enables ASPs to offer tools for integration, management and Web application development, allowing enterprise customers to Web-enable existing applications and connect disparate data sources.
