SolCom’s E-Xpress to Knowledge Management

COMMON 2000, SAN DIEGO—SolCom announced the release of its latest AS/400 knowledge management software product, MultiManager E-Xpress, at this year’s COMMON. The product is designed to allow easy implementation and use of scanning, indexing and storage capabilities while allows users the option of expanding from three to 300 workstations.
“The MultiManager engine was built for enterprise-wide, high-volume document management,” CEO Marv Addlink says. “SolCom has provided E-Xpress to allow you to quickly jump on board the knowledge management train and take advantage of its technologies.”
The software, which can be installed directly by the client, offers scan, index, view/fax/print, multi-level search, and drag-and-drop document capture functions. A MultiManager E-Xpress implementation can be expanded to include additional workstations and scanners, COLD, workflow and more. E-Xpress is a component of SolCom’s MultiManager product suite, which can be used to securely add additional personnel and capability without any migration or conversion concerns.
MultiManager E-Xpress is currently shipping. The product sells for $4,995 and is packaged with a pre-configured Hewlett Packard scanner and three client licenses.
