Business-in-a-Box Targets Small Companies
Jim Martin
In today’s complex computer environment, the ability to effectively and efficiently run a business can be very difficult. With this in mind, Champion Computer Corp. (Boca Raton, Fla.) has joined forces with Emerging Technology Solutions Inc. (Englewood, Colo.) to introduce Business in a Box, a high technology solution targeted for small businesses.
Initially, Business in a Box will leverage IBM Netfinity Servers and Lotus technologies to provide small businesses with an Enterprise Relationship Management (ERM) system that monitors virtually every aspect of an operation. In the near future, bundles for AS/400 servers will be available.
The ERM solutions manage relationships from employees and clients to partners and suppliers. It does this by increasing an organization’s ability to facilitate communication and manage information into and out of every point of contact.
The new offering is composed of six modules: executive management, sales force automation, operations management, cost and asset tracking, human resources, and general management.
Business in a Box is offered in four bundles packages: starter (10 employees), small (25 employees), mid-size (50 employees), and enterprise (100 employees). Pricing ranges from $10,000 to $89,000 and also includes installation, integration and training. Leases are also available.
