Logistics PRO Adds Web-Based Desktop Access Tool

Responding to its customers’ growing e-business needs, Intrepa (Mishawaka, Ind.) has added a new Web-based desktop tool to Logistics PRO, its integrated transportation and warehouse management system.
The new tool, PRO eXchange, will provide Logistics PRO users with secure access to real-time information through Web-based order inquiry and e-mail notification systems, enabling them to have up-to-the-minute order status for their entire organization, supply-chain partners and end customers.
As orders come in to Logistics PRO, they immediately become visible for inquiry through the PRO eXchange inquiry system. The e-mail notification system of PRO eXchange allows automatic delivery of order information based on the change of an order’s status in Logistics PRO.
According to Intrepa, future releases of PRO eXchange will provide for inventory visibility, online returns with call tag integration, Web-based inventory replenishment, and integration with Internet-based trade exchanges.
The PRO eXchange product is available for the warehousing and traffic versions of Logistics PRO for AS/400 and is also included with Logistics PRO for Windows.
