ACOM Adds Software Plus as Business, Development Partner

ACOM Solutions Inc. (Long Beach, Calif.), developers of AS/400 solutions that combine elements of conventional hard copy processes and electronic processes, was recently named an Alliance Partner of Software Plus Inc. (Florham Park, N.J.), makers of a line of payroll and human resource management tools for the AS/400.

“There is an excellent fit between our two companies,” says James R. Scott, ACOM VP of sales. “Like ACOM, Software Plus has extended its activities aggressively into the total sphere of electronic commerce, and is taking full advantage of the capabilities of the Internet and broadband communications.” He added that ACOM’s vertical solutions for electronic and conventional forms will allow Software Plus’ customers to take full advantage of technologies advances.

Software Plus’ product line includes Geneva, for integrated HR/payroll management; Geneva Web, an “employee self-service” system that provides Internet access to personal files; and Geneve Xpress, which automates payroll, human resources and benefits for growing companies.

Its SWP Serveware product is an Internet-enabled payroll/human resources solution deployable through an ASP. The company offers a modular suite of customized human resources, payroll and financial management software for the AS/400.

ACOM’s product line is compatible with all computing platforms and financial management systems, and includes solutions for e-payments, e-forms, e-transactions (EDI/XML), Web forms and MICR documents and printing systems. As an Alliance partner, ACOM will take part in joint and cooperative marketing activities of Software Plus.
