F-Secure Messaging Security Gateway Goes Virtual to Tackle Spam
Now available on VMware’s virtualization platform
SAN JOSE, CA, December 12, 2006 -- F-Secure® today announced the availability of its next-generation messaging security solution, F-Secure Messaging Security Gateway appliance. F-Secure Messaging Security Gateway version 4 comes with improved usability, mail queue management, and support for more complex e-mail infrastructures.
While the Messaging Security Gateway is available in three different physical hardware configurations, the hardware appliance is now also available using VMware’s virtualization platform. All four versions including the virtual appliance feature the same anti-spam, anti-virus, and anti-phishing features, as well as the new optional Zero-Hour Antivirus Module, which gives protection against fast-spreading e-mail viruses during the first hours of a new virus outbreak, before traditional anti-virus signatures have been updated.
