ScriptLogic Releases Security Explorer 7.0
Latest release now supports Microsoft Exchange
ScriptLogic Corp. has released Security Explorer 7.0, a security and access control solution for Windows.
Security Explorer lets users manage permissions throughout several Microsoft technologies across the network from one console and in real time. Users are able to perform backups and searches, create duplicates, and generate reports.
Version 7.0 is available in several options: Security Explorer for SQL Server; Security Explorer for Workstations; Security Explorer for SharePoint; Security Explorer File and Print Management for Windows Servers; Security Explorer Services, Tasks and Account Management; and new for version 7.0, Security Explorer for Exchange.
Users can buy just one of the options, or buy a combination of them, depending on their company's needs.
"With Security Explorer 7.0, ScriptLogic eliminates the need for administrators to purchase multiple products, or struggle with native security tools, in order to prove server security and compliance," said Jon Rolls, ScriptLogic's vice president of product management, in a prepared statement. "Security Explorer 7.0 is one of very few tools to offer integrated management of all types of permissions for Microsoft Exchange -- one of the most widely used business-critical applications today."
