SenSage Software Extracts Added Value from Event Log Data
SenSage 4.0 introduces intuitive user dashboard with extensive reporting options for security, regulatory compliance
SenSage, Inc. has released SenSage 4.0, its updated eventlog warehouse system to help enterprises meet compliance requirements and help maintain smooth IT operations.
SenSage 4.0 makes it easy for non-technical staff to execute queries and generate customized reports. The updated software has enhanced performance that lowers total cost of ownership by shortening deployment time and easing support requirements.
Key features of SenSage 4.0 include:
A redesigned, intuitive user dashboard gives management a view of the compliance
Simplified tools that use wizards so users can quickly create and customize reports
New predefined compliance reports match data to audit requirements (such as the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard)
Collection and storage of “massive amounts of event log data” for as long as necessary, coupled with analytics and unlimited ad hoc reporting so "users can quickly respond to compliance, network operations, or security investigations"
The company says that in a recent customer survey, regulatory compliance was cited by almost 90 percent of respondents as the top reason for collecting log data. The survey found that almost 75 percent needed to retain the data for 12 months or more.
“With SenSage 4.0, we’ve extended the accessibility of the event log warehouse, originally built for security professionals, and made it suitable for a broad number of users who have the responsibility for managing the risks and costs associated with compliance, IT systems operations and security,” said Ed Chopskie, vice president of marketing of SenSage.
