Quadrant Introduces FastFax E-Mail Gateway

Quadrant Software has introduced a new product to allow its customers to send and receive faxes directly from their Lotus Notes client running on a Domino for AS/400 server.

FastFax E-Mail Gateway allows users of Quadrant’s FastFax Enterprise fax servers to receive incoming faxes and create faxes from the Notes client as an email attachment.

“Having users manage both fax and e-mail traffic via a medium in which they’re comfortable is ideal,” said Gary J. Langton, president and co-founder of Quadrant Software. “The use of e-mail to deliver and receive faxes in an organization provides an immediate increase in productivity. Off-site personnel can now receive their faxes regardless of their location, simply by retrieving e-mail. The e-mail gateway further enhances our strategy of providing feature-rich fax solution for the AS/400 enterprise.”

Quadrant evaluates a customer’s computing environment and develops and installs a customized fax server according to specific needs. The product features simple plug-in installation, so the users can immediately take advantage of the added capability.

FastFax E-Mail Gateway is available immediately, for Microsoft Outlook/Exchange and Lotus Notes/Domino running on Windows NT, as well as Domino on AS/400. Pricing starts at $4,995.
