Renex Adds Support for Blockade Security Software
Renex Corporation, a provider of Web-to-Host PC software solutions, has added support for Blockade Systems' Extended Access Control Security Software for S/390 platforms, via their BlueZone 3270 desktop and eZ3270 TCP/IP Web-to-Host emulators.
Using Blockade's Extended Access Control provides greater control over user access and authentication by extending the power of RACF, CA-ACF2 or CA-Top Secret security software, through a feature called Consistent Sign-On, which results in one password per user, thus eliminating the need for managing multiple user accounts and passwords. By incorporating support for Extended Access Control and Consistent Sign-On, Renex BlueZone 3270 and eZ3270 Customer's can now extend the benefits Blockade's security solutions all the way out to the remote Internet user.
