Lyquidity Solutions has updated ComplyXL to provide stronger controls for multiple, segregated spreadsheet repositories; the updatealso adds a notification feature that sends alerts via IM or e-mail when spreadsheets change or on a regular (hourly or daily) basis..
The new version offers options suited to auditors or compliance teams “who access spreadsheets in different repositories or different locations,” according to a statement from Lyquidity. Enterprises may use different repositories to protect against unauthorized access. A compliance team can monitor spreadsheet use as well as spreadsheet access and modifications in multiple repositories. The team can create reports of changes, user activity, and versions.
Other enhancements include in this version include a streamlined manager approval process that lets users display workbooks that are approved or for which approval is pending without locking those spreadsheets.
The company offers a trial version of ComplyXL Enterprise for remote servers. For large enterprises, the software installs automatically on PCs using Microsoft’s installation module.
