Precise announced Precise for Cloud, a transaction performance management solution that ensures quality of service (QoS) for applications running on private cloud platforms at the Global 5000 and their global ISPs.
Precise for Cloud solves pressing issues facing cloud architects and virtualization managers: application QoS, performance problem isolation, and problem resolution. Using Precise for Cloud, IT executives can consistently monitor performance, predict, and isolate issues, and, over time, optimize applications running on virtual and physical infrastructure.
Precise automates QoS management on physical, virtual, and hybrid infrastructures. Customers use Precise to manage and improve transaction processing time, reduce resolution time of performance incidents, and prevent transaction performance loss incidents altogether. Precise provides application and transaction QoS information to the key IT stakeholders through multiple role views based on a federated performance management database.
Precise consistently monitors every transaction through all application stack tiers -- from URL, through application, middleware, and database to storage-spindle -- for custom (Java/.NET), packaged (SAP, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, Siebel), and composite (SOA) apps. It automatically detects, isolates, and guides the resolution process for application performance incidents, increasing the overall application uptime, mean time between failures, and the systems’ capacity to service an ever growing transaction flow.
