KOM Networks, a storage management solutions provider, has released the KOMpliance i-Series Archive Gateway that allows companies to add a secure universal archive repository using their iSCSI SAN storage. This new solution will reduce expenses, complexity, and administration costs associated with iSCSI storage while increasing compliance levels and archived data protection.
KOMpliance i-Series Archive Gateway is a cost-effective, out-of-the-box solution, combining high-end performance and advanced NAS features while delivering “eWORM” tamperproof secure archives using iSCSI SAN storage resources.
“KOMpliance uses open standards and protocols and nonproprietary connectors, so businesses can leverage their existing investment in data storage equipment,” said Kamel Shaath, CTO of KOM Networks. “Our mission is to offer customers easy to use secure solutions using their storage of choice without the typical vendor lock-down associated with competing proprietary offerings.”
