PeopleSoft Forms 3 Divisions
PeopleSoft has formed three new divisions to oversee the company's U.S. and Canadian initiatives.
The Product Industries Division will include PeopleSoft Manufacturing, Retail, Communications, Transportation and Utilities business units. The Service Industries Division will include PeopleSoft Healthcare, Financial Services and Service Industries business units. And the Government and Higher Education Division will include PeopleSoft Higher Education, Federal, Public Sector and Canadian Government and Education business units.
Each of the newly formed divisions will have its own president plus dedicated marketing, professional services and sales support operations.
PeopleSoft has stated its intention to have 2,000 AS/400 customers for its ERP solutions by the Year 2000.
