Infinium, Kronos Announce Partnership
Infinium Software Inc. (Hyannis, Mass.) and Kronos Inc. (Waltham, Mass.) have announced a worldwide strategic relationship enabling the integration of Kronos' Timekeeper with Infinium's Human Resources/Payroll products, according to published reports.
The relationship is expected to provide joint Infinium/Kronos customers with faster, more strategic workforce management by integrating traditional workflow processes.
Employees can now enter time spent on a job or activity from various locations throughout a business enterprise by swiping their ID cards through a Kronos terminal, or entering information via desktop PC or telephone system. The interface connecting Kronos and Infinium products will be built by Kronos, and based on the AS/400 platform, with future plans to integrate Timekeeper with Infinium Human Resources for Windows NT.
