Wall Data Readies Rumba Users for Euro
Wall Data Inc. has announced full support for the Euro currency symbol for AS/400 and IBM mainframe versions of Rumba 95/NT products. This enhancement to Rumba enables Wall Data to fully support the Euro in host application functions including file transfer, printing, keyboard mapping and on-screen display, according to published reports.
Eleven European nations plan to adopt the Euro as a common currency in January 1999. In preparation for this, Wall Data is making its Euro-enhanced Rumba 95/NT offering available beginning December 9. The enhancements can be downloaded free of charge from Wall Data's Web site, www.walldata.com/euro.
Rumba 95/NT AS/400 and mainframe customers who have purchased OneStep Services are eligible to receive the Euro enhancement automatically.
