IBM Offers Integrated Netfinity Rebate
IBM announces that customers with a qualifying non-IBM PC server (installed as of February 9, 1999) who acquire an eligible Netfinity Integrated PC Server (NIPCS) feature for a new or existing AS/400 9406 may be eligible for a rebate, according to IBM sources.
The date of eligible NIPCS installation -- as defined in the IBM Customer Agreement or any equivalent IBM agreement -- must occur on or after February 9, 1999.
Qualifying non-IBM PC servers must be Pentium-class machines and above and include: Compaq ProSignia and Proliant; Dell PowerEdge server; DEC Digital server; and HP NetServer.
To qualify for the rebate, IBM customers must complete and sign a rebate request form and supply a valid proof-of-purchase to IBM Rebate Headquarters no later than two months after the purchase date of the eligible product.Contact your IBM representative, an IBM business partner or IBM Americas call centers at (800) 426-2255 -- reference: AE001.
